I hope you have had better luck registering your business with Bing. I started the process 2 months ago and ZYGR INsites is still not listed.
On January 7th, I submitted my request to have our company added to Bing Local Listings. To complete the process, Microsoft does something a little different than Google and Yahoo – they send a letter containing a PIN in the mail to verify the legitimacy of the business address. Last week, we finally received the letter. Unfortunately, the PIN did not work…most likely because I had updated my Bing application and changed our mailing address thinking perhaps they don’t allow PO Boxes
What should we do? Change the mailing address on our application back to the PO Box and see if the PIN works? And if it doesn’t, risk waiting another 2 months? Maybe my time would be better spent figuring out why our Google Local Business Center request has been flagged. At least Yahoo Local Listings acknowledges our existence.
